Make Up Academy (MUA)

Last week I got my stuff from MUA and I like it sooo much that I decided to start a blog about their products.

I ordered a foundation (£2), trio eyeshadow (£2.50), mascara (£2) and 3 in one contour pen (£1.50), it only cost £8!! ( around 80kn- for Croatian readers :) )
MUA Matte Foundation

Foundation is very thick, thicker than foundations you can find in stores in Croatia that are not charged like they are made of gold, and the colour is adapting to your skin tone. I am very pale and bought shade 1- Soft sand, Matte foundation. I was a bit sceptic at first but when I tried it on I was simply amazed by the texture and colour. I have very oily skin type, almost all foundations I ever used, except Manhattan Powder Matt foundation, resulted in a greasy shine that looks ugly and frustrating, but with Make Up Academy Matted foundation there is no shine and it lasts for hours (I wore it for about 8 hours without fixing it or using loose powder).
So, here is how I apply foundation:
1. Take the foundation and apply it to the fingertip (exact amount that fits onto your fingertip)
2. Spread it by hands all over your face, starting with the centre- nose, forehead, chin and  slowly spread to the ends of the face (make sure you washed hands before this step because if you have oily skin type, you might pick  up unwanted "oil" from your hands)
3. If you have to use some more foundation to cover up skin imperfections, feel free to do so, just be careful you don't put on too much, it will give you a very unnatural look)
4. Take some loose powder (I mix every loose powder with baby powder because usually it's too dark for my skin tone >.<) and apply it with brush or a powder-puff, again starting with the centre of your face and gently apply to the end of your face. Then when the face is done, apply a bit under your chin and onto your neck to cover the line of foundation. (I use Manhattan Soft Mat Loose Powder mixed with baby powder
5. I recommend to take a cotton pad, wet in warm water and gently pat it on your face- it does good as a fixator (If you don't have one)
6. And this is the easiest way to apply foundation properly :D

Trio eyeshadow Pink Sorbet that I bought from MUA is the most amazing eyeshadow I ever purchased, it's also long-lasting, shimmering  and after just one brush stroke the color remains
steps:
MUA Trio Eyeshadow- Pink Sorbet

1. Use the lightest shade and apply it onto the entire eyelid
2. Choose the second light shade and apply it in the middle of eyelid
3. The darkest shade apply on the lash line, and a small amount in the middle of eyelid to create "depth"
5. At the end apply mascara starting with the eyelashes from the outside towards the inside (I also use eyelash curler before applying mascara)

The MUA Extreme Curl Mascara Black curls lashes lovely, and the brush remains exactly as much mascara as needed for one eye. It does not smudge and is easy to apply on lower lashes.
